How it Started
Launching Paleo Manila®, the brand that built nuthera®
Launching nuthera® Rx Medical Meal Plans
Last March 2019, we launched Rx Medical Meal Plans under nuthera®.
Rx is a medically-focused meal plan designed specifically to facilitate healing and recovery of individuals from chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension. Rx meal plans follow the DASH Diet principle. DASH, which stands for Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension, is a well-balanced diet recommended by the USDA to treat high blood pressure.
Launching NuGrocery during the pandemic
Keeping our clients' health and safety in mind during the pandemic, NuGrocery is nuthera's online grocery store that provides healthy food essentials with timely convenience. Aside from its vast selection of fresh produce, meats, and poultry, health enthusiasts will be glad to find a mindfully prepared pantry of ready-to-eats at their disposal.
Physical groceries, wet markets, and supermarkets still get packed with people because people need to go out to buy supplies, This makes social distancing less effective. NuGrocery helps our clients stay safe while taking care of their families' health always.
Evolving into our long-term brand vision fully as Nuthera®, this 2021.
With the ecosystem TGVI has built through the years to enable our clients to achieve their fitness and health goals through its products, nuthera has evolved from being a homecooked healthy meal plan delivery service to becoming an actively growing nutrition therapeutics company. To represent this evolution, the brand was developed in April 2017 to serve as the new name of the group.
This 2021, we officially launch as Nuthera® which stands for “Nutrition Therapy”, as we continue our mission into uplifting our community's health starting from the smallest unit of the society — our families and ourselves.
Nuthera® aims to be a company with a vision to help people live better, meaningful, quality lives as they work towards being their best selves starting with food.
Through the harmonious relationships fostered internally, the nuthera® team strives to provide a responsive and reliable service that truly listens to its clients’ needs and aims to surpass its customers' expectations.
I have ordered monthly subscriptions twice already and Nuthera has not failed to deliver great meals. I have tried other meal subscriptions and ended up stopping them. Unlike Nuthera, they were dry and unfulfilling. With Nuthera, I can enjoy good food and be healthy. The food is never dry, there's wide variety of weekly, and they are absolutely tasty. Packaging is also topnotch with a QR code for food details. I love it.
My 1st order from Nuthera was the Food Intolerance meal plan, and I subscribed to it because I am on an Elimination Diet. I sent Nuthera my Food Sensitivity Results and the Nutrition Care Plan, and I feel that it was followed well.
I seriously loved the food, and I never found it boring. Eating quality food made me feel more confident about myself. I was also saved from the stress of thinking what and how to cook (I don't know how to cook). I didn't have to worry what I'll be eating for the day, and the 2 meals a day for 7x a week worked so well with me. The food was always balanced, it had fruits and vegetables (just like how it was indicated in my Nutrition Care Plan), protein and the like. I'm not being fed with rice even if I'm not allergic to it (I'm good with that, because I'm trying to lose weight, too).
In comparison, I actually subscribed to a much cheaper food delivery service last Jan-Feb 2022. But I noticed that there were days when I felt full and there were days when I didn't feel full. They also kept feeding me with brown rice that was so hard to chew and digest - especially that I don't have gall bladder anymore, so I had more difficulty digesting. On the other hand, the food from Nuthera kept me constantly feeling full - that makes me think that I'm getting enough nutrients that I need. They even sliced my food to bits that made it easier for me to chew and digest; that made me feel so cared for. I felt that they understood my struggle of being unable to digest big foods, so they even did the effort of cutting/slicing them to small bits for me. 🙂
Also, because of my previous food delivery service, I became hesitant to order from food delivery services again because it also caused me indigestion (as I was unable to digest and absorb the food well - sometimes they gave me pasta, or brown rice that were hard for me to digest). But Nuthera has restored my faith in food delivery services.
Overall, I've had a truly great experience with Nuthera. I would love to subscribe for life to make sure that I get the nutrients I need. But my only concern is the price - it is the major stumbling block that's making me think twice before subscribing again. But, so far, so great! Thank you! ❤
